Meat-Muffin

Hola! Its been long since I updated my blog. Merci merci!

To apologize, today I am going to share a delicious home cook Meat-Muffin for my fellow paws-friend. This is our dinner tonight! Thanks to my mommy, its our first attempt!

First first, here is the main ingredient for our Meat-Muffin day!
Aussie Beef Minced! (Mommy: Surprisingly, its only RM5.33 =P)

Next, we have the Aussie carrots, local broccoli and US Potato.. all washed, peeled, cut and bring to boil... Honestly, where these stuff comes from doesn't give me a big deal, as long as they are edible!

And then, here comes the fun mixing part! Mixing the meat, eggs, organic rolled oats, the mashed boiled vegetables and organic extra virgin olive oil ^_^

Mix mix mix and wa-la-la... arrange them into the non-stick muffin baking tray. You know, at this moment, we are having the extra boiled vegetables as treat while waiting the Meat-Muffin to be done!

Waiting time... wait and wait and wait.. mommy oh mommy, its so long! I lost count how long I waited.. oh well, actually I don't even know how to count the time! I just know its like ages!!! And then, TING! Its done! Its done!

It smells so yummy!! Mommy scoop one out into Lexus's bowl. Ok, mommy spoil the muffin shape! But what's the big deal?! Who cares about how it looks like? I wanna eat!!!

You see, like I said, who cares about the shape when mommy decides to break it into smaller portion?

Cut the crap, eating time!

Yumm yumm!!

You see my bowl is bigger then Lexus's! Actually.. only my bowl is bigger, we ate the same portion size, one Meat-Muffin!

Ahhhh.... I am done! Its sooooo delicious!

Mommy, can we have more? Pwease? There is four more.. mommy.. pwease??

Mommy: I tasted it myself, it really taste so nice! I would love to have one too =)

Finally, mommy decided to give us another half, me and Lexus sharing one. Yummmmmmy!

Birthday Present

This year is a quiet birthday, but anyhow I am still happy because mom always love us. My birthday falls on 24th August, and Lexus's on 4th August.

This is our main birthday present. I got a charm-necklace, and Lexus got a named-collar. You know what, the bells on mine are noisy! I will ask mom to take out some of the bells... =)

There are more actually, but all in our stomach already. Mom also cooked for us, made us biscuit and many treats! It was a busy month for mom, and I am glad that finally she settle all her unhappy stuff. I want mom to be a happy girl again!

Oh, I heard mom say something about our birthday celebration this Sunday..!! wow! Wonder what is that about?

Finally, Lexus can see road after few months of growing his fur!

And at last, he is noticeable in the park! For once, people are hugging him, playing with him, praising that he is cute! And no more comment like kambing la, biri biri la.. mix dog la... hahahaha.. I bet he is much more happier!

As for me, I am still the cute and lenglui Sushi!

Mommy brought us to park again yesterday. Miki not with us, she gone to stay with kai yeh and kai ma =P So only me and stupid Lexus.

You know what happened in the park yesterday? Got people say Lexus is MIX! Wahhahaha... yeah yeah!!! Lexus is mix dog mix dog! And somemore, the cleaner said Lexus is kambing!! Wahahhaha kambing Lexus!

Hi all!! Who had been missing me? I know many of you missed me muchie muchie! All is mommy's fault. No need to explain about me missing in action. Go question my mommy!

I'll show you me in TANGLES! Thanks to mommy who make me wear the stupid shirt for one whole day + overnight, and make me feel uncomfortable, so I scratch scratch and scratch! Ended up, I have to stay still for mommy to detangle me!

See, the left side is my tangles, and the right side had been de-tangled. The tangles in this picture is only 20% of the original tangles on my body. I was alllllll tangled from head to toe! Mommy gotta love me muchie muchie when she removed my shirt earlier keke..

After one and a half episode of movie, I am all pretty again!

Tonight, mommy want to comb Miki, who knows suddenly mommy brought her to bath.... and then sun bin groom her feet, eyebrow and ears...

Look at her silly face... she can't stand/sit still for mommy to take photo!

Finally mommy brought her out, put her on chair and lure her with treats, so she can sit still.

After photoshoot session, Miki gets treats, and me and Lexus also have! Mommy, I love you!

Feet Fur Trimming Day

Few days back (Friday) mommy finally decided to trim my feet fur (and also paw fur). Oh my.... they were so long, but she still don't wanna cut earlier!

Lexus Growing Fat!

Mommy brought Lexus to Pets Icon again, last Tuesday. Exactly one month since last head grooming. You see how much fur he grows!

Mommy wants Lexus to grow the fur in the muzzle, so no trimming at the muzzle fur yet. Compare the helmet in the photos below to see how much fur he grows! Oh, and the body fur gets chubby too :) Mommy wants him to grow longer and longer and longer! I'm talking about fur growing of course :)

Yesterday, mommy show me this photo. At first glance, I thought Amos slim down! But this is not Amos. This is Zen... another dark chocolate male poodle.

Hi hi.. its been long since I update my blog. You know what happen? All is mommy's fault! She brought the laptop onto her bed, and when she can lay down on bed using the laptop forever! So I don't have the chance to blog!

Mom brought us 3 to the park yesterday. Chris jie say mommy so ambitious bringing us THREE alone... but to mom, she say she is just being fair, when she still have the energy to do so. I love her so much!

Finally, Miki joined us to stay in this little cosy apartment! She will stay with us from now on =)

For those who don't know who is Miki, she is mom's first daughter. Her details as follow:

Da Salon

I guess most of our moms accompany us to the grooming centre aka our salon... some mother even wait at the centre till we get done! But definately not my mom.. she just dumped me with the groomers.. but now she will be the one that be grooming me, that's great! She won't dump me anymore.

Ok, back to the topic today. How many of us that actually accompany our mom to the salon? I mean the hooman salon. I get a chance to go with her sometime back. I can tell you, the hooman salon its not fun! Mom don't get extra service. In our salon, we gets lotsa kisses, treats, huggies despite the stoooooopid blower and nail clipper... our salon is much more better! Mom don't get her manicure and pedicure done... the stylist don't wash her butt =X and don't clean her ears... Believe me.. as mommy told me I must start to learn to love grooming and appreciate it. Trying hard!

Something For Me

Today, mommy bought something for me. Normally I am very excited and happy if she buys me anythings. But this time, the thing she bought for me, I am not excited at all!

See! She bought this!

A stoooopid blower. I hate blowing! I don't like people blowing my hair. Mommy even said she actually wanted to buy the one like school... the power blower. Luckily she did not. This one already going to kill me... don't talk about the POWER ONE!

Mom: Get a powerful one, shorter time to blow you, so you no need suffer so long lor!

Mommy don't blow her hair, why do I need to blow uh? Anyway, I know I got no choice... I am mommy's girl...

This is how the actual blower looks like:

It got 2 speed and 2 temperature, 2200W. This one is used by professional in the salon. The hooooman one. Actually she wanted to buy a branded one, but when someone tells her "Branded one also made in China right?" then she laughs.. and end up she bought this one after trying it.

I don't look forward for my next bath session.

And she also bought this:

Wee wee pad... she bought TONNES of it...(I don't study maths, I don't know how much is "tonne") LOL... anyway, the stock can last for a year at least :P

If you don't know what is wee wee pad... it means my toilet. I pee & poo on it. I don't pee/poo anywhere else. Mommy said I am good girl, so I deserve her bed. If mommy remove my pad to somewhere else, I will still look for it and pee. If I look the entire house still can't find any pad, then I got no choice but to whine at mommy. If she not around, I will pee at the spot where mommy always put the pad. I am good girl, right?

Mommy Is Sad

Mommy is still unhappy today. She is so moody. When she reach home from her class, she didn't talk to me. Reach home just sit in front of the computer. After awhile I saw her started to cry. I don't know what happen. I wanted to kiss her but she don't wanna hug me up the chair. She just stares at the computer and cry. Then suddenly she ran to her bed, cover herself with blanket. I know she was still crying. I feel so sad seeing her like that. HELP!

As promised, some of my grooming photos. It is boring on the table, and mommy thought I am a not-moving-toy, keep snapping my photos!

I look nice or not? My fur looks so soft right? Mommy says she don't know my fur is that long, because she seldom groom me on a table. She keep spread my fur like carpet on the table.

You see la, mommy took my photos till I fall asleep she also haven't finish.

Oh yah, the groomer is actually my mommy =) She is taking grooming course in Pets Icon.

BTW, today mommy very not in good mood. I know someone bully her but I don't know who. Anybody can teach me how to make her feel better? All I know is just kiss her... feel so bad can't help my mommy to feel better.

Sushi Taking Over

Start from 1st March, I (Sushi) will be in charge of this blog. Mommy is too busy sleeping, and she ask me to maintain the blog on her behalf.

I feel that this is an honor for me! And to celebrate this, I wanna change the layout of this blog! It needs to feature me more, since I am in charged! However, I will still be blogging about mommy's furkids (Lu's Furkids)... which includes me, my sisters and brother! Who is my brother? Stay tuned!

XB having Kuaci FEAST!

When we were away at mommy's aunt's house, mommy called her brother to feed XB because grandma forgot to top up XB's food.

When we reached home after 3 days, its so surprise to see this in XB's bowl:

It is full of kuaci's skin! Mommy straight away called her brother and nagged him. He took the wrong container and gave only kuaci to XB. He even said, "hamster em hai sek kuaci ge meh?" (hamster eat kuaci one rite?)... SWEAT.... nevermind lah.. its just like a feast for her, celebrating CNY!

Then mommy quickly remove everything and refill with Prestige. Now this looks like nicer food for XB.

Mommy brought me to her aunt's house, and we stay there for 3 days. There were so many kids there, and they love me!

Basically its not fun here because when they play cards, they ignore me!!!!

This jiejie very scare of me still want to take picture with me. See how she hold me? I almost fall down dy! And my ghost eye... stupid mommy, don't know how to take nice photo.

And then later at the night, mommy brings me to her aunt's house. When we reached, I heard something very loud and noisy! Looks like a monster dance!

So scary... that monster even come near to me, passing mandarin orange to mommy by his mouth (mommy was hugging me).. I thought the monster want to eat me! When mommy put me on the floor after the monster left.. I run all around looking place to hide. So scared...

But mommy fast fast catch me and put me on the sofa. I feel safer here...

Then this little jiejie keep hugs me like I'm her barbie doll..

And this leng lui ah yi gave me ANG PAO! I'm so happy! Actually I think mommy happier.. and that little boy keep want to chase me.

After I spend some hours there at mommy's aunt's house.. we went home liao... and I take a long nap.. because its a tiring day!

La La La... Finally back to blogging. Mommy no mood wor... ask me gaotim the blogging myself. Might as well ask her to let me be the blog boss hoh?

Lemme check what photos did mommy take.

I went to mommy's ah-ma's house. Meaning, my tai-ah-ma's house. But I never seen her before, because mommy said she went to somewhere very pretty.

I heard something...

Who's barking there?

Its a fatty Shih Tzu next door! The owner said the Shih Tzu very noisy... but I bark louder then her!

I just got chance to walk and explore awhile, when mommy decided to put me on the chair, because she said she wanna help in the kitchen. *She lie, she just go and steal something to eat!*

I want to go down..... but its so high :(

Luckily mommy never forget me, I got my carrrrrot!!! YUMMMM!

After awhile, mommy and some jiejie bring me for a walk. Got the chance to stretch myself a bit. Else I just have to sit on the chair :(

Its so fun! In the beginning I don't dare to slide down, but finally I conquered it! I just walk down the slide! Watch me in action!

Then, we return to tai-ah-ma's house. This jiejie keep hug me and telling stories how I conquer the slide.

After awhile, its finally meal time! Tai-ah-gong, mommy's uncles aunties... I also don't know how to call them... too complicated relationship. They call this "old generation" people table...

But its not my meal time..... I need to sit on the chair again! This time, with the leash tied to the chair. Mommy also sot sot de... so high I won't jump la!

Why they eat so slow? I can finish my meal within 1 minute!

They very bad leh... can't finish the food at all! See this! So many left also don't want give me!

Only give me this small piece of lettuce!

I also don't like to eat lettuce... I want that roast duck, or that steam chicken. BBQ pork also not bad! But I know mommy won't entertain me....

After that, I went to have a rest in the living room.

Halo... me Sushi greet everybody Happy Chinese New Year, Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Today, I'm going to show you my new dress for CNY. This is it, a very red chinese style dress:

I looks soooo fat! Look at my chest! This is a size 4 dress. I am definately a size 3 girl, but mommy said the size 3 may looks short on me. She said she loves the dress cover me whole body. Mommy bought this dress online and I never got a chance to try before this. She said better buy bigger then smaller... but I looks so fat! Me no happy Sushi.

Last post I mentioned that my dogs went to swim in the lake, and we did not plan to go home so early, so we sent them to groom.

Too bad its a Saturday, and most of the good groomers are fully book. So we got no choice and sent them to one of the shop in NZX, that is not so busy. We went for dinner while waiting for them. I told them to call me when they are ready.

I feel a bit heart pain seeing how they handle my dog. They grab them from my hand and just "throw" into the cage :( Sushi was whinning there seeing me leaving, while Miki was jumping in the cage. Sigh... I just hope they don't hurt my dogs.

After dinner, and a short walk around NZX, we went back to the petshop to check if they are done. Its about one and half hour later. When we reached there, my girls are done. I asked the groomer why didn't she call me telling me they are done? She said, "I just about to call later...", she was sweeping the floor. I don't know how true about "she is calling me afterward".

After make the payment we left. I do a minor check in the car, nothing hurt on them. When I reached home, I did another thorough check, no big deal too. Just awhile later I noticed Sushi was licking her back, near the tail there. And I notice some rashes... I quickly apply cream on her. I hope that is the last bad thing I find after the grooming, but I was wrong. I found cuts in the paw and near the ass-hole.

I should have insist to go home and bath them and not send them to this kind of groomer! Never had any problems sending them to other groomers, only once Miki's paw get cut, that was done by the HOG trainee.

Both of them looks so sweet in the photo.

As you can see, Sushi already messed up with her ponytail not long after we reached home. The groomer did not do a great job on that -__- I think I did better. Scroll down to see that I tie her hair again.

Miki looks silly in this pic. They clipped away some of the Miki's leg fur, end up she looks like having slim legs. I wonder how come they do so much thing for their basic groom, where I just request them to clean their ears, shave the paws, bath and blow dry? Really have to agree to the statement, cheap thing no good, good thing no cheap =)

I don't like the band they used to tie Sushi's hair. It looks like normal human rubber band. I take it off (by cutting the band) after I took the photos, and it pulls a lot of Sushi's hair... zzz... the latex band that I bought and have been using on Sushi, will not pulls any hair if I cut away the band.

I got 2 Swimmer Dogs

Actually I am home since yesterday, but was keep unpacking and cleaning... hate CNY. Who set the rules to do cleaning prior to CNY? Ok, stop whining.

We brought the girls to BU Park last Saturday evening. Let them run off-leashed, and they kept running chasing the birds around.

Both of them were very hyper chasing birds. When the birds flew over the lake, I'm not sure whether Miki realize about the lake or not, she followed the birds and she fell into the lake LOL............ and she still chasing the birds... swimming. We were too shock to take any of her swimming photos. I yelled at their daddy to rescue Miki, because I'm not sure if she can swim.

Just in less then 2 seconds Miki in the lake, Sushi follows and jump into the lake!!!! -__________- Well, Sushi was run towards Miki's direction and "runs" into the lake, and she stone there not moving LOL. She did not swim. I am not sure she was chasing the birds, or wanted to join Miki in the lake, because I did not pay attention to her that moment, was worrying Miki. Luckily Sushi is just near the land so I can just hugged her up. While Miki, she need to swim back on-shore LOL... she can swim! LOL...

It was way too funny seeing both of my dogs wet in the park. Since they are wet, we let them played in the water. Trying to put them back into the lake to swim but they refused. I guessed they are afraid now. Previously they don't know the brown "floor" is water.. now they know. Haha... so we got no choice but to wash them at the public toilet, to clear off the dirty water.

Remember my head accident? It doesn't give me pain for awhile now, but now I am feeling it is so pain. The wound there is aching. No idea what's the cause. I guess I am feeling sick today. Feeling hot and cold, no energy and don't wanna leave the bed. Woke up 10am+ till now, I have never eaten anything. Mom tapao me my lunch, its still sitting there until now. I just don't have the appetite to eat. Guess somehow I need to swallow something, because I feel the need to take the pain killer. I hope there's nothing wrong with my head.

My mom scares me saying people die after 2 weeks they knocked their head........ touchwood LOL... if it ever happens then sayonara everyone ^_^ Hope someone will help me take care my kids.... ROFL..

Today, pohpoh went to her friend's orchard, and she bring home some rambutans and this!

What is that? Pohpoh said it is "Wong Kam Guo" as in Golden Fruits. Pohpoh let me tried some, it is soo tasty, but mommy says "yuccckkksssss, how come got milk taste?"... Mommy so stupid, she also don't know how to eat this yummy fruit!

When mommy was taking the picture of this fruit, I faster go and k-poh. I thought mommy wanna let me eat, who knows... she just snap a picture. Sigh... need wait pohpoh come home, then I must show her my pretty eyes, lure her to feed me Golden Fruits!

New Place

Today, I bring Sushi go to a new park. This park are popular place for hoomans to jog. Because I am not in proper attire to jog, and I also did not plan to jog, I just bring Sushi walk around for awhile. There is a playground too, but many malay kids, so I did not bring Sushi there.

I will bring Sushi there again one day, when I am in the mood to jog kaka... It is actually a pathway surrounding a lake, kinda dirty and old place. Only can bring Sushi there if I planned to bath her that day. Which means I am going to bath her later.

Today I cooked curry for Sushi. Hahahhaa..... you see!!

I cooked for 3 days portion somemore! The small bowl is one meal portion. Then I take out the portion for dinner tonight before I put everything else into the fridge.

I should cooked a dry curry but I added too much water. Oh well, since she doesn't drink a lot, maybe its good to add more water into her body.

YES! This curry is for Sushi. I don't fake it kakakka.... Oh I also add some vege puree for her. But I am not showing that, because the colour maybe looks awkward for someone.... greenish curry.

Peaceful Day

Nothing special happened today, I went out whole day doing my personal stuff, from the banks, to the pharmacies, to the accountant firm, to my customer's office, chit-chating, and finally went to the post office to mail out the bones.

When I get to the post office, the guy ask me, why so long never see me? I don't know how to answer XD I used to post a lot of things oversea, exchanging stuff with my oversea friends. I have cut those off a lot.. because budget not enough anymore LOL..

So Sushi is left alone at the house. When I reached home, she was so excited. Planned to bring her out for a walk, but too bad, there were the people spraying a lot of smoke (something to do with the mosquitoes that causes dengue). Its too smelly and not healthy to breathe in, so we stayed indoor.

Look at my sleeping girl... she must be super boring today, because I hadn't entertain her!

After I just published this post, I look at Sushi, she is in this position! So cute! So I must edit and post to show! She just dig her bed, so she is kinda messy XD

Sushi's Favourite Toy

This is Sushi's favourite toy - Minnie. Being a favourite, of course it is kinda dirty :p

It has beany inside, and Sushi has never ripped Minnie off before, but Miki did. There was once I forget to keep Minnie away when Miki was around, Miki play with it, and then Minnie has a hole *sob* and some of the beany spill out. I quickly pick up as much as I could and put it back, and I repair Minnie. So basically Minnie is thinner now.

And because Elsie posted about her happy-family, I dig out my not-so-happy-family to show her. There are a couple more, must be with Miki. I am not sure where are the rest. Therefore, they are not-so-happy-family squeaky toys.

Cameron Trip Part II

Ok, where did I stop? Ok we went to the park at about 4pm, but it rains soon afterward and we went back to the apartment. Oh by the way, I missed one part, we went to Cactus park soon after our lunch in Brinchang.

We only carry Sushi out, and left Miki in the car. We are afraid Miki will bark from the begining to the end of our visit at the Cactus Farm. We don't stay long in Cactus Farm either, its about 20 minutes? I am not very sure.

Ok so all of we fall asleep till 7pm, and we head up to Strawberry Restaurant (I hope I get the name right, its just at the Kea Farm, pasar tani) to have our Steamboat Dinner. Sinv took a lot photos for our Steamboat dinner, but I wonder why she never post it?! Sinv?? Mana itu steamboat gambar? And we went to Pasar Malam. I guess hooman activities are not so fun to blog about haha...

Alright, back to the apartment, after a short chitchat, eating my jagung and Sushi whinning as usual, asking for one bite but she got no chance! But later on, all the doggies got to taste some of my cookies, I am glad they like it, and they finished all the 3 tupperwares of cookies that I brought over...

The next day, we woke up at erm... 10 something? or 11 something? I am not very sure now. We had sandwiches for breakfast and we packed our stuff. We headed to Kea Farm. Well, I brought some vegetables there, and also, this flower:

Elsie's gang went back earlier because she need to visit Rubie. But we went to Strawberry Restaurant to have our Steamboat Lunch... yeah steamboat again! All the food is same, except we got the local tofu, and not the white-tofu. And of course, 6 pax reduces to 2 pax.

After our lunch, we headed to another Strawberry farm, and we ate 2 boxes of Strawberry + Cream + Honey. While I am blogging here, I misses the Fresh Strawberrrriiieesss! We also dropped by the Tea Valley, and a place that sells Honey. Alright, as I mentioned earlier... hooooman activities are not that fun to blog!

So basically, that's end our Cameron trip with the furkids. My girls are so so so tired, they slept the whole journey back home. When I reach home... the first thing that came to my mind, WHY SO HOT!

Whining Sushi

Today, as usual when I wake up and get out of the room, Sushi will follow by jumping off from the bed. Then, I just went to toilet and want to sleep again, because I slept at 7am, were still very sleepy. When I get back to bed, Sushi also follows. She then starts her teh-bao thing.

You need to on your speaker to hear she whine. Usually I don't let her up if she whine... I only let her up when she stop to whine. But today I was too sleepy, I just hug her up after I took that video. Oh yah, she is messy... because she also just wake up kakaka...

Actually she has the ability to jump up to my bed! I see once before! Early last week, after I bathed her, I put her on the floor, and she run back and forth all over the house, and into my room, and suddenly she jumped onto my bed! That is the one and only time I saw her jumping up to my bed. After that, even I try to lure her with food, she still don't able to jump up. Just keep whining like the above video. Few days back I bathed her again, and did the same thing, hoping she will jump up to my bed again... but too sad to say my experiment fail!

Oh Sushi... how can you learn to jump up the bed?

Bone Bone

Few days ago, mommy was busy sewing and sewing. I don't know what she was doing so I try to kpoh. Whenever I try to get near, mommy say "OFF"... she don't let me get near.

Finally I know what she is doing! She is making bone bone! Lots of them! You see!

I was so happy, I thought all of them are mine! I tried to jump on them but mommy scold me!!! Finally, she say she give me one. This is mine!

Yeh yeh!

Mommy: Actually Sushi just wanna kpoh what I was making and she just want to play with me more then the toys. She never gets to get near any of those toys of course, because those are for my customers. After I gave her one, she bite awhile then set aside putting herself on my pillow. =___= Different case if I give one to Miki. She will sure play with it, till all the bone wet!

Cameron Trip Part 1

It takes so long for me to blog about our Cameron trip. I was too lazy to upload the picture from my phone cameras, because I have to transfer one by one with the Bluetooth! Well, I did it finally, but there aren't a lot too. There are still some with bf's phone. Some photos I curi from Sinv, she blogs our Cameron trip too.

We went to Cameron on 19th December, night, and we were using the old route, that is very challenging at night. Result? Miki vomited. That is not something surprise, but Sushi also almost vomited, and that is a surprise.

When we reached Cameron at about 11pm, and we entered the apartment, waiting for Elsie and Sinv's gang to arrive. Both Miki and Sushi running here and there exploring the whole apartment. No pee-pooing. Just after a minute when the others arrive, Cooper, Amos and Boey... the pee-poo activities starts! All of them starts peeing and pooing... *sweat* Luckily most of the dogs are weepad trained, so we just placed the pad everywhere around the house to minimize the mess.

After awhile, my girls are placed on the sofa and are not allowed to go down, because the rest of the doggies is having their dinner. Look at Sushi's messy hair, she was so pretty at the beginning, and after the play she is like one siao char boh... She was been chasing by Amos.

Don't know why Amos is so attracted to Sushi, and they find it Cooper is neglected, because Amos changed his target? Amos did not scared at all, even Sushi barks angrily at him, telling him that she is not happy with his behavior. Amos will just siam for a few seconds and try another attempt to hump Sushi. His never give up attitude is really great!

We celebrated Elsie's bf birthday that night, not long after that all of us went to bed.

The next morning (actually afternoon, we all wakes up late), after the play chasing, marking, humping.. we went to have our lunch at one of the Restaurant in Brinchang.

The restaurant is dog-friendly, they owned a Shih Tzu, and keep ask us returned for steamboat dinner later. But we did not XD

After that we went to a Strawberry farm. We did not enter because there are a lot visitors. We just walked outside of the farm. The visitors keep pointing at our dogs. I heard comments like "eee, dia ikat rambut lar..." and "eee, macam bear!". All of us keep laughing at their comments, especially Amos-macam bear. There is one lady that took a group picture of us, telling us she will bring her dog on her next trip!

After the trip to strawberry farm, we went back to the apartment, because everybody seems tired. Perhaps because of the cooling weather.

But we did bring Sushi and Miki to the park at Tanah Rata. A lot kids there, so we did not bring them walking around the park. We just play around the cycling area.

And after a short chitchat with the hoomans, and the dogs playing running and such, and of course Amos is still chasing after Sushi... all the hoomans went to bed, except Elsie's bf. I think he did not take a nap, since I saw him sitting outside alone when I wake up at 7pm?

I had a Nightmare

I had a nightmare last night. It makes me jump up from my sleep. It was so real that I thought it was really happened. It was the thing that I am afraid of happening in my life in the future. I was so frightened by the nightmare. I couldn't continue my sleep, and my mind keep think I should pull a full stop on this. I am really scared.

People says, dreams are the things that you have been thinking all day, and it repeats in your mind during your sleeping time. But I would say, this thing I have not been keep thinking before. This thought came to me after Xmas, and I am very sure I have only think about it 2-3 times. I would only think "What if ...." and then I did not further imagine. And the scene come exactly in my dream! Something even worse then I could ever imagine.

There are so many other things that I keep thinking, such as "being a millionaire" but this does not appear in my dream. Sigh, what should I do now? I am really afraid my nightmare comes true in my life...

Lazy Day

Today, mommy very lazy. She sleep and sleep and sleep. Made me also feel sooo lazy. I also sleep with her.

Then when she wakes up, she still don't want to play with me. But she got give me eat yogurt hehe... makes my mouth wet wet. You see my boh mood face:

Finally, she ask me play the bell-ball myself. Make me so sad.

I know mommy sick, so I also no blame her. Hope she fast fast recover so can bring me go out gai gai soon!

Blending Greens

It seems that each time I do Green Purees worth a post of blog HAHA :) But this time a little bit different. I am using another blender. Its my mom's. I made this on Sunday.

I only get 3 types this time, because it is kinda limited in The Store supermarket XD I should have go to the hypermarket instead. Or better still, the wet market.

I got some Green Mustard, Red Spinach (why red?) and Carrot. Everytime I make puree I try not to use the same vegetables.

Then I put part of them into the blender and blend. (After wash)

I tried but it is not very successful. Blending leaves is not easy. So I take them out, and I put only carrot and the stem of the greens, it is easier to "run" in the blender. After they become mushy, then only I add in the leaves.

A Walk in the Evening.

I brought Sushi for a walk just now, after I went to buy some groceries. We went to an open area near my neighbourhood. Sushi non stop sniffing the grass, and leaves. And then she peed on the grass XD I guess she learn to peed outdoor from Miki.

Supplies Shopping Day

I am kinda "big head prawn" (careless) sometimes. I misplaced Sushi's stainless steel comb after Cameron trip, because I was taking in and out giving Sushi her best look most the time. So, on the day I traveled from Teluk Intan to Mentakab, I dropped by Pet Safari, Ikano to get some supplies.

For Sushi:

A double-sided stainless steel comb with plastic handle: RM10.50. (But when the girl scanned through the barcode, it appears as RM10.55, I questioned her about it, and she refunded me the 5 cents haha =P) Actually my original plan was to buy another normal stainless steel comb, but I couldn't find any in Pet Safari, so I choose this.

After I used this comb, I find it quite nice. I just need to flip it over to change the comb size, and do not have to turn the entire comb over. Another good reason is, maybe I can find the old-stainless-steel-comb? So I do not have the same comb kekekeke... FYI, this is not the first time I lost a comb, and I found it about weeks later after we got a new one HAHA... that was a flea comb, more suitable to use when she was a puppy, or fine detailing now.

And I got her some treats. 2 packs of Salmon Snack, 1 pack of Pacific Whiting (both kinds is 100% dried wild pacific salmon and dried Pacific Whiting), a Canada product. I hope this kind of treats is natural enough for my sensitive Sushi, until I get a toy-toy like Nezu owned.

Hey, these treats are not cheap! One pack RM7.50, and there are in 25gm each pack. Yes, you read it correctly, RM7.50 for TWENTY FIVE GRAMS. But if you see it this way, the weight of the dry food is about 20-30% of the weigh of the food in fresh... think it that way may feel better LOL... Nezu if you are reading, when are you going to do me some favor with your toy-toy XD… but I am not opening these until Chinese New Year. These are for her as a celebration, and also as a show off tools. Not going to let the people feed any peanuts to my Sushi!

My cousin fed her Shih Tzu with roasted peanuts, lots of them during our previous family gathering. I kept ask her to stop feeding, but there are about 3 little cousin girls that keep feed and feed and feed, and I get tired stopping them. What can I do when the owner don't really care? Or she doesn’t really understand about healthy or not. SAD!! I wished all people are more willing to learn and listen, study and research for their dogs good.

Actually I was seeking for Breeder Celect but cannot find any, so I took Back 2 Basics, since they are actually same thing, in different shapes. This palette bedding is so nice to use. Reduced odors a lot, comparing to wood shavings. Bye Bye wood shavings!

Prestige Hamster Nature
Mom called, and asked me to buy food for XB, and I asked her, “uh finished dy meh?” She said almost! Ok, I remembered I left about 300gm food for her to feed XB and I took the remaining (about 300gm too) along with me for XX. There are about 150gm left still for XX, and almost finished for XB? XB is such a big eater? Ok, so not to starve XB, I bought another pack of Prestige Hamster Nature. Actually I was tempted to buy Harry Hamster for a changed of taste. Suddenly, came a thought, XB maybe don’t like it, so I still grabbed the Prestige after second thought. When I reached home, I still find about 100gm of food for XB. Mom is just exaggerating =___=

You may asked, nothing for Miki? Haha, she will gets the dried fish too, IF I get to see her before they are finished! Else, I will just buy some others for her by then ^_^

Accident & Updates

I would like to update blog earlier, but I had some minor accident (I knocked my head and had 2 stitches, not telling you where it is haha…) and I have been resting for days. I’m not going to talk more about that, not something worth celebrating LOL. Don’t ask me! I’m not going to tell =P No matter what.

So, let me update about today before I updates what have passed for the week. First, me, I went for another check up at the clinic today, and got myself for some antibiotic. And the doctor cleans my wound. And that she took away my RM38. I wonder how much is her consultation fees, as she did not itemized in her bill.

And when I was away to the clinic and lunch with my kaijie and her sister, my mom called. She called my kaijie’s sister because I and my kaijie didn’t realize our phone rang. When she hangs up, she told me “Hey, your mom says your daughter is hungry, ask you faster go home and feed her”… and I answered, “Nevermind lah, it’s only 1pm, sometimes I fed her about 3pm”. At this moment, one auntie that was sitting at the same table (friends of the sister) gave a shocking face and asked me, “You never fixed a time to feed her?” At this moment, I guess she thought the “daughter” my mom was talking about is a human-girl, so I simply told her, “It’s a dog”. Both my kaijie and the sister were laughing so badly, and the auntie giving black face…. I don’t know whether I should join in the laugh or what, I just smiled hahaaha =P

BTW, don't think that I am cruel to feed my dogs at 3pm instead of 1pm for lunch. I do not specifically set their meal time. This is to prevent they act like alarm clock to ask for meals. Dogs that are feed on time daily tends to know the meal time eventually. They will be making lots of noise if you are late giving them their meal for the day. So far, my girls never complain if I give them food late, especially Miki. She eats when she happy. As for Sushi, as long as she doesn’t smell any food, she is ok. If I prepared her food but not feeding her yet (I put on the table), she will be guarding her bowl, not moving anywhere until I feed her.

Yay, I am back from my Cameron trip! Actually I reached on Sunday night, but I was too tired to update my blog earlier. Didn't really had a nice sleep in Cameron because the doggies barks suddenly in the middle of the night, and Sushi growling at them hahaha :) So I had quite some sleeps yesterday and today. I will update the Cameron trip later hopefully tomorrow, and more when I get the pictures from Sinv, because I don't take a lot pictures.

Today, I made a new vegetable puree for Sushi, with the vegetables I bought from Cameron. They are very fresh. This is only part of it, because the rest are for the hoo-mans consumption ^_^:

The greenish purple is spinach, according to the seller. Seldom see it in the market. Usually I saw only green spinach. I blended all of them and becomes something kinda yucky *for me* but smells great.

Hmm, only so little puree... I think this can last about 2 weeks. Guess what? Both Miki and Sushi loves licking it just like that!

Trying a more advance "befriending" a hamster and a dog :p Same as the previous, Sushi just guai guai lay down and let XX crawl her. Actually we put XX on top of her la.. even when XX accidentally drop near her mouth, Sushi also doesn't moves LOL.

You may think that Sushi is afraid of XX, but I don't think that is the way. When XX is in the tank, Sushi will scratch the tank trying to play with XX. But if I put XX walking on the floor, Sushi will just lay down and watch. Nezu says, "maybe Sushi know that she will hurt XX, so she just lay down and watch. But if XX in tank, Sushi know she can't hurt XX, so she try to scratch the tank playing with her." After Nezu said so, I think and think... maybe Sushi really that clever?

An Evening At The Park

2 days ago (Monday) we brought Miki and Sushi to a park. This park is a little bit further from the place we stay, because the nearby park is usually pack with people.

When we reached there, there was a Indian family. We spotted some Malays too, but they were in the other area.

BaaPii Grooming Miki

Its been abbout two weeks since Miki bathed. It was 29 November, the date Jason groomed her. Miki was so smelly, and I urge bf to bath her.

So, it was 1am, we came back from our regular mamak visit, he brings Miki to our "grooming table" and start working with her! Bf said, just groom Miki once more because her fur grow longer liao. I shaked head but I did not bother, because I was not the one who did the job.

As you can see, a lot fur got cut. :p Miki's fur just grow so fast! It was just two weeks ago since last full groom. Actually can last about a month, just that bf hand itchy.. guess he is addicted to grooming. Me too =)

So I k-po-ing taking pictures, and bf said, come you groom the eye brow. Haha.. so I just take the scissors and cut here cut there, use the thinning shears cut here cut there for fun. It was fun.

All these are the picture of progress. We did not bath Miki before the full groom, so cannot comb her into pretty fluffy legs.

Its done for the day, and I gotta vacuum the whole house, not because of the grooming session, its because its very dirty already. I just keep postponed it till today, and I skipped the mopping part. Tooo tired, and forgot to take Miki's picture after blow dry. Oh well, next time then.

Miki Full Groom

Last week when I was away to KL, I asked Jason come over my place to give Miki a full groom (29 November 2008). Jason is a new groomer so must give him a chance to show his skill!

I'll let you all judge his skill :) Sorry for the bad picture quality, was using the phone camera.

He is a patient and nice guy. He will make sure your dog won't bleed when he cut their nails... unless you tell him, cut till bleed!

Just reach home from my dinner, I was mad when I saw Miki's bowl is empty... because Sushi's stomach is ROUNDED FULL! She ate Miki's kibble!!! @#$%^&* Usually Sushi will not enter Miki's "territory" but she did, and emptied Miki's bowl!!! She kena scold gao gao. Told her don't look for me if she itchy tomorrow or later.

I even asked her, I giving you so delicious food, yet you still want to curi kibbles. HUMF! Must lock the gate every now and then.

I was away to KL for about a week plus, and I couldn't be blogging... *sob* *sob* I am back online since Sunday, but I just get back to myself today. Reaching here at bf place, is like turning myself into a maid. Now all of them are sleeping, bf, Miki, Sushi, XX alllll asleep. I did not bring XB along with me, I left her back in Pahang to accompany my mom. I need sometime to upload the pictures from the phones. My camera is half dead and previously I was using my mom's camera.

So, what I have been doing for the past weeks? I made 6 pet beds, delivered last Friday *if I am not mistaken*. And brought Sushi for her yearly jab. She had the 10 in 1 (the basic 9 + pneumodog (kernel cough)) at Brickfield Veterinary Medical Centre. For the first time, we are the only customer during our visits. Most of the other regulars going to Gasing Vet Hospitals (their newly opened Hospitals). We went back to Brickfield, because Sushi's vet is there that day.

Oh my, I get so stucked blogging today. Need to clog up a bit. Catch up later.

My new BED!

Today, mommy was busy sewing and don't bother me and Miki at all. At first I was so mad because she is not playing with me. Finally I found out what she was doing! I got my new bed!

Actually my bed disappeared for about a week already. Don't know where it gone. But never mind, I got my new bed now! Wee~

Mommy: I tear the old bed apart because it was too dirty, and recycle the polyester for her new bed.

This afternoon, suddenly mommy was shouting "Sushi! Miki! Come!", I thought mommy want to give us treat. So I rush to mommy as quickly as possible. I want to grab the first bite, cannot let Miki win. But when I found mommy, I saw her holding the stupid flashy thingy (camera), and no treats on her hand! I was soooo disappointed. Mommy even asked us to "pah dei" (down trick)... so I just follow her order guai guai.

Miki was very bad. She doesn't want to listen to mommy's order. She took so long just to pah dei. I waited so long for her to complete the order. You see I was so boring waiting her!

Then mommy said "girls, smiles a bit?"

Mommy don't understand, it is not fun at all.. I don't want to pah dei beside Miki. Somemore I don't think Miki is photogenic at all. She was so messy, look at her eye brows!

But mommy insisted. Haiz, no choice, so I just tolerate a bit. OMG Miki is smiling already, I also need to smile, if not later mommy don't sayang me! Gotta show my best look!

Pet Esthe (MUD) Shampoo

I got this samples for awhile now, but left with bf, so he brought over for me few days back.

Here they are:

From left: Pet Esthe (MUD) Keep for Volume Up, Pet Esthe (MUD) Shampoo For Low-Stimulating Puppies, Pet Esthe (MUD) Shampoo For White-Haired Dogs, and Pet Esthe (MUD) Keep for Volume Up.

I was asking for Mud sample, because it is hypoallergenic, for my Sushi, because Sushi has kinda allergy skin. However, the one that I actually requested for sample is out of stock. And the girl recommends me to try the puppy version. She says puppy is even milder, and is even better for dogs with skin allergy. As for White-Haired dogs, I just ask for it too, because she says they only have "puppy & white haired dogs" sample left. Yeah, me greedy! The Keep for Volume Up, according to the girl, is a conditioner. They also have the Keep for Volume Down, but I chose Up Up because I want my girl to become fluffier!

Ok, so yesterday I tried this Puppies + Up Up for Sushi. The smell is great. Not so strong like the Pet Esthe professional series. I heard a lot commented that Pet Esthe carries very strong and sharp smell, but this Mud series is very mild. The smells is not strong, a comfortable smell for me. As for the Up Up, it is not soapy or silky like the normal conditioner that I have tried. It does not condition the fur like conditioner. Usually if I use conditioner on Sushi, I can comb her fur very easy, and very little tangle after bath. However, Up Up do not condition the fur, I don't know what it does to the fur.

So after dried up Sushi, as usual she will cuddle me, I like the feel of it. Her fur is very soft! The smell is also nice. Not bad ^_^

Well, I have just bathed her once with the sample, and this is how much I used:

The two bottles on the left is the one I tested. (Same placement with the above picture) Compare with the two on the right.. that is not yet opened. Oh my.. I guess these samples will last me for hmm... at least 2-3 months?

Me is Sushi... Baapii is here, Miki is here! Baapii bought me some nice buffallllo meat, super duper fresh. I had that for my dinner tonight. So yummy yumm yumm!! And Miki today eat the fresh opened pack of Innova, I also steal a few and eat. They say, stolen goods always taste nicer, but I still think my homecook meal the best, yummm! Thank you mommy!

And and.. baapii bought a big pack of guavas! Then popoh gave me some. So sweeeeet and nice! Oh baapii bring me so much goodies.. so fun!

But there is one thing that is no fun, he also bought the white pill thing, he force me to swallow it. Mommy say it is don't know what thing for my heart (mommy: ProHeart Heartworm Prevention Pill). Miki also have to eat one. We gotta eat this little white thing every month. I hate it! I always try to spit, but if I spit baapii will hit me. So pity..

Me whole day busy playing chasing with Miki, mommy said camera no battery, so cannot take picture. She say tomorrow only update our pictures. Ok, that's for it for today. Tomorrow going to blog more!

I'm going to play police and thief with Miki, for sure I am the thief! I want Miki to chase me!

Yoghurt Sherbet

Today, I am going to share how I made Yoghurt Sherbet, one that is similar to the Mango Sherbet Sushi had the other day.

Actually it is super super easy.

Ingredient
1 mango, 1 apple, 1 rose apple (jambu air), 1 guava, yoghurt (I added in 3 table spoon)

Blend all the above fruits into super watery smooth and add in yoghurt. And then freeze into ice cube :D Sushi loves it a lot! *I also likes to eat it*

Oh of course you can substitute with any kind of fruits, even only one kind. It is an excellent treat for a hot day!

The above is my first batch of Yoghurt Sherbet. The one that Sushi had the other day is second batch. The process is same, just that I used Mango, Fuji Apple, Pear and Guava. Sure yumm yumm!

Sushi Ban Leng Leng

Actually I thought baapii is coming today, but don't know why till now I still don't see him. Mommy says, he will only be here in 2-3 more days. Haihz... why he don't come earlier? I miss him ma...

Don't know what is in mommy's mind, she combs me so long today. At first she uses the yellow clip on my hair, later she say, yellow not nice, then change to blue clip.

Do you think blue clip looks nicer?

Seriously I don't think so, I love pink more! But the blue clip doesn’t last long on my head, because a minute later, mommy say, “Come, I tie your hair”. It is been so long since I had my hair tied, because mommy says if she ties my hair often, my hairs will break a lot. So she just uses clips on me. Sometimes she uses about 3 clips on my head! This is how my hair clips look likes:

Xiao Xiao's fur changed?

Ok, the mommy back to blogging LOL =)

The more XX grow, the more greyish she seems to be. She was quite white during baby time, and now, she is about 3 months old, look at her fur colour:

She has some cute marking there :) Even some said she is a "Husky" because of her face marking.

That video was taken when she was 2 months plus. I am glad that she is getting bigger already. Notice the head part? The grey marking on top of her head makes her looks like a husky :p She is not that scare of me already. However, she still eat a lot lesser comparing XB. XB is a real big eater!

Right now, their diet is Prestige, Briter Bunny, fresh foods & veges, Vegetarian Powder supplement, Nutri-Smoothie and organic mix nuts & fruits, LC-Vit supplement too =) Occasionally, I gave them Orijen (dog kibbles) for protein supplement ^_^

I start to think how come all my pets get all sorts of healthy food, where I had my McD lunch earlier?

Mommy bought a whole organic chicken, but only this is left for me:

Only the chicken breast... =( I haven't taste a drumstick yet! Mommy washed them and then steamed the chicken for me.

I told mommy actually she can just give me the entire piece, but then she said this is going to last for 2 days meal for me! Oh well.. I don't bother as long as I got my chicken!

Then mommy tear and cut the chicken into pieces for me. She thought I don't have teeth to bite?

But I know why she did that, because she going to mix the chicken with my brown rice. She afraid that I will only choose the chicken and not taking the rice! But she was wrong.. plain brown rice was tasty too!

Oh yah, earlier today, I got to taste the Mango Sherbet that mommy made earlier. It is so sweeeet and tasty! Should ask mommy to blog about this tasty thing!

Hi, I am Sushi.. don't know why mommy don't have the mood to update the blog. I asked her to play with me, she also don't want!! I'm so sad.. nobody plays with me. From morning I am waiting for my meal, and after I have my meal, I wait for my next meal, so on and so forth. I think I am getting fatter without Miki around. Miki always make me chase her, because she always snatches the toys! Sometimes I hate her because she won't let me have her toys. She even grab mine.. humf! But now she is not here, I miss her..

Wonder if mamie going to give me any yoghurt today.. bet not? But luckily I got some guava earlier, popoh gimme... very sweet!

Oh well, guess I gonna entertain my own, looking at the mini-white (Xiao Xiao) running the wheel. What is so fun with the wheel? Do they have one big size that can fit me in? Popoh said I am getting fat... :(

I don't know since when Sushi doesn't likes the apple anymore. But my mom bought the Fuji apple for her. It is gonna be a waste if Sushi doesn't eat! Me and mom doesn't fancy apple much. So I decided to make Yoghurt with Fuji Apple for Sushi:

So now I got a yoghurt apple mix, I gave Sushi a piece of apple with yoghurt dip to test if she will eat.. oh my she just lick away the yoghurt and "puih" the apple to the floor... -___- *sweat*

So I take a fork and press the apple cubes into smaller pieces and give the entire bowl of yoghurt apple mix to Sushi. Within a minutes, all its gone!

Sushi New Hair Style!

Today, my manager came to find me. She did not asked me about my job performance *phew* she came with her sister (my kai jie) and we had a nice chat. And of course we wouldn't forget to ask Sushi to show off! As usual, Sushi's best trick, the "dor jie" (thank you).. Sushi kept on performing this trick to ask for the treat :P

Later then, my kai jie did a new hair style for Sushi!

She did a great job yah? She told me this is the first time she did on dog's hair :)

Actually this is not the first time we did braided hair on Sushi. My mom did it on her before, but after today, we realized that Sushi's hair really grew a lot :)

Green Purees

Today.. hmm what I did today? Oh yah I went to the supermarket and bought some vegetables. Today I got Mustard Green (Sawi Hijau) and Local Spinach... the popeye the sailorman spinach haha.. :)

I still do not have the blogging habit yet, because if I do, I am sure I will snap a picture the fresh vegetables I bought. But oh well, both of them are blended into purees, and now I turn them into ice cube. Aha.. I will show the ice cube..

Hmm.. Wait ya uploading picture LOL.. Ok while uploading.. let's talk something else. Mom is complaining that I "hide" too much stuff in her fridge. She got no space for our hoo-man food, and she always mistake the tupperware of sushi's meal for our dinner. Luckily she loves Sushi, else she will non stop scolding me.

The green ice cube is the puree of spinach + mustard green. This is the puree I am adding into Sushi's daily meal. I switches the greens variety for her so she gets all sorts of different nutrients. I adding about 20-30% of greens into her meal. Its about 2-3 ice cubes. Oh yah, you see the orangy thing at the bottom? That's pumpkin. Pumpkin its for the vitamin A and carbohydrate, along with other vitamins. Good for constipation too :p You see I am putting everything into one container, because someone nag me using too much of the fridge space LOL...

Green leafy is strongly recommended for home cook meal, because they contain high calcium, fiber and other vitamins which is very important for a dog. Although some dog nutritionist say adding greens may be enough, but I will still give Sushi some calcium supplement. This is because we need to balance up the calcium:phosphorus ratio of a dog. A well balance ca:ph ratio for a dog is 1.2:1. Most meat is super high in phosphorus, about 8 times of the calcium. So, we need a lot of calcium to balance up the ca:ph ratio. Maybe I should blog on this topic some other day, because a lot of fact is needed for this ca:ph thing. I am not starting any calcium supplement right now because I am adding stuff into her meal slowly, not creating her upset stomach or allergy, just started with the flax meal.

I will be adding kelp into her meal too. Just ordered from the organic health store, it should be here next week. Oh dear.. she is eating so much healthier then me? What I get for dinner just now? Maggi Curry...

Organic Golden Flax Seed

I bought this Organic Golden Flax Seed few days back. This is to supplement into Sushi's homecook meal.

Golden Flaxseed is a complex food source containing high amounts of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) an omega-3 fatty acid - as well as fiber, lignan precurcors and other substances that may have an impact on our health.

This is how the Organic Golden Flax Seed looks like (I pour into a new container):

The seeds need to be ground into meal to get their full nutritional benefit. So I scooped out some of the seed and blend with the Super Chopper. The grounded one need to keep well, or else they get rancid easily. So I kept them into a glass container and keep in fridge.

I am adding a teaspoon into Sushi's meal daily ;) And I heard from someone saying feeding flax seed will reduce poo poo smell XD I haven't proof this yet.. because all this while, Sushi's poo don't have strong smell.

Fried Rice!

Cooking day for Sushi again.. I cooked for her every 2 days, and freeze the remaining portion for the following day. Today, I decided to cook her fried rice, since I would like to have one for dinner too, but later you will see how different is our fried rice!

Let's see Sushi's version:

Ingredient: Buffalo meat, brown rice, carrots and organic egg, with minimum oil just for the egg.

How did I cook? First I fried the egg with a little wee bit of oil, and then remove it from the wok. Then I add the meat, followed by the carrots.. stir and stir *quickly* because I wasn't using non-stick wok so I need to be quick. After the meat is almost done, brown rice is added. I keep stir fry it for awhile, can't be long because the rice starts to stick to the wok already!! This is what happened when you do not add enough amount of oil. And then put the fried egg earlier back into the wok and stir.. finally serve!

A healthy meal for Sushi! (a lot healthier then mine if you read it further down later)

Next, I cooked for myself! Ingredient... WHITE RICE! I ate white rice, and Sushi ate BROWN RICE! She got the healthier choice! Actually, I choose white rice because it taste so much nicer in fried rice. The other ingredients for my fried rice, you can see the picture below. There aren't any others I can found in my fridge. And oh, I don't like carrot.

Can you see which has shinier surface? Yes, you got it right, its mine! OMG... OMG... this is what happen when nobody nags you, nobody controls what you eat. So all unhealthy frozen food and oil (I added the dried scallops floss, its kinda oily for the better taste) and the seasoning (salt & soy sauce) went into my stomach for the dinner today.

Come to a thought, who has the better life? Me or Sushi? Do you prefer tasty or healthy?

I get her wear this every time she has her meal, to prevent her ears (and other fur) drop into the bowl, and make a big mess for her head. With this, it is easier to clean her face too.

At the end of the video, you can see she is looking right up... there is the dining table, where the remaining fried rice is. What is she thinking? She wants more?

Bathing Time!

Sushi is on heat, hence she has some strong odor at her back. Anyway, her last bath was last Friday, and its a week ago :) So I grab her for a nice bath :)

After towel dried, I let her go loose.. and the first thing she did was to run into her bed and keep digging it... I read somewhere that dogs don't like we wash off their natural smell, so they will roll into every places trying to get her own smell back.

Drying time now... she looks so sad, oh she hates the blower!

Sushi: MaMie.. can we skip the blower?

20 mins later, tadah! My pretty Sushi is all dried!

Sushi: MaMie.. are we done yet?

My mom, aka my girls grandma loves them so much, and she always buy something for them to eat.

Yesterday, she bought this:

The organic pumpkin seeds and mixed nuts and fruits for Xiao Bai and Xiao Xiao!! I was so surprise! In my heart, I was asking, where is my portion?!? When my mom just get home, she talked to Sushi, "Sushi come and see what I bought for XB?" and then she add this "Don't jealous, I bought you an apple too!".. now where is mine!?

This is XX eating the organic pumpkin seed. She loves it, XB too.

This is not the end. This morning, my mom bought corns for them!! Fresh Cameron Pearl Corn from the market. Look, XB loves the corn so much!

Mom placed her on the table, and about 7-8 corns on the table, all XB did was to pick up and hide in her cheek! Cheeky fella..

Nuggets! Nuggets!

Today, I made some nuggets for Sushi as her main meal.

Ingredient: Buffalo meat + Pumpkin

You may ask, why buffalo? Sounds soooo yucky to somebody, even me for the first time. But I strive for hormone and antibiotic free meat source, buffalo is one of them.

This is how it looks like in my toaster oven, blended meat and pumpkin:

and ta-dah.. they are done after 15 minutes, oh I did turn them over at about 8 minutes time:

and I mixed the nuggets with pumpkin brown rice, and mixed vegetable purees (no picture for the purees) to balance up the meal:

Oh yeah, I did not gave her all the nuggets, nor all the rice in the picture, its too much for her one meal, kept the extra in the fridge. It is enough for her 3 meals ;)
